What's the world without a little insanity, right? Everyone loves a little burst of manic, psychotic episodes from time to time. Give a character some time without a moral filter and you'll see the havoc they're capable of wrecking. Give them bouts of mental instability and you have a delightful drama to paint the screen with.

While, the pop culture on the whole has some iconic roles, it is Hollywood in particular, which has had some great characters. And while Jennifer Winget is currently raising the bar playing the character of Maya in 'Beyhadh' on Indian TV, we list down which TV actors who would easily moonlight these characters

Here's our list of psychotic characters from Hollywood and their TV counterpart-

Jennifer Winget as Amy Dunne from Gone Girl

Amy Dunne had us all gawking at how alarmingly dangerous an obsession can get. It immediately lead us to draw comparisons with Jennifer Winget. She fits right into the role of someone who is seemingly perfect but has seething insecurity and an obsession to feed. She has been 'Beyhadh' amazing, hasn't she?

Vikas Manaktala as Norman Bates from Psycho

Vikas Manaktala can be easily chalked down as someone who can pull off a double persona as seen on Main Naa Bhoolungi. We think he could take on Norman Bate's darkness and the potential to morph into a mask of duality. Got a casting glitch? Have a single actor play a split personality and you're all set for psychotic drama!

Karanvir Bohra as Jigsaw Killer from the Saw Series

When we say psychotic, we mean a really crazy case of mental imbalance. Like, one that would lead you to create a deadly game that inevitably ends in a graphic, disturbing turn of events. We can totally see Karanvir Bohra play on an unsuspecting vulnerable victim and enjoy the show of his own making, courtesy his brilliant performance in 'Saubhagyavati Bhava'.

Sudha Chandran as Queen Ravenna from Snow White and the Huntsman

When we think of a psychotic step-mother, Sudha Chandran comes to mind pretty easy. In a different cultural context, we would love to see her take on the most evil step-mothers of all time. Queen Ravenna with her narcissistic personality disorder could send a young girl to die in the woods without batting an eyelash, and so would Sudha Chandran, if given the opportunity.

Do you agree with our choices? Who would you cast as an iconic psychotic character?

Jennifer Winget can play any role with aplomb. She's one of the very few actors who's versatile on Indian TV.

Karanvir bohra indeed is a versatile actor and needs to do characters with lots of shades than qhat he is doing in naagin 2... His role in naagin 2 doesnt fits him... And thats why i think ppl couldnt connect with rocky and shivangi's chemistry... Also jigsaw is a bit over the top, but he can do that role...
Maya and amy have many similarities and both are obsessive over their husbands. Jennifer IS DOING the role effortlessly..

We all have seen sudha mam as ramola sikand in kahi kisi roz when we were kids.. And now in naagin franchise. She can do the role with ease and perfection
