Himanshi Parashar, known for her compelling performance in Teri Meri Doriyaann alongside Vijayendra Kumeria, is currently in the spotlight with exciting news regarding her career. Recent reports suggest that the talented actress is poised to play the female lead in the upcoming season of Maddam Sir - Kuchh Baat Hai Kyunki Jazbaat Hai. This popular series, created by Kinnari and Jay Mehtaa, is gearing up for its second season, and Parashar has emerged as a strong contender for the leading role.
According to ETimes TV, Himanshi Parashar is nearly confirmed for the role following a series of casting deliberations. A source close to the production team shared with the publication that Parashar was highly regarded for her look test and audition. The team felt she was a perfect fit for the character they envisioned. The source explained, "After considering various options, we felt Himanshi was the ideal choice for the lead role. Everyone was impressed with her look test and audition. The rest of the casting is in progress, and we plan to start shooting soon. The show is scheduled to launch in November."
In a recent conversation with Free Press Journal, Himanshi confirmed that she has participated in a mock test for the show but is still awaiting final confirmation about her role. This uncertainty has left fans eagerly anticipating official news about her involvement. If Parashar is indeed cast as the lead, it would be a thrilling development for her supporters to see her showcasing her versatility in a new genre.

The first season of Maddam Sir was well-received, featuring Gulki Joshi in the role of SHO Haseena Malik, Yukti Kapoor as S1 Karishma Singh, Bhavika Sharma as constable Santosh Sharma, and Sonali Pandit Naik as head constable Pushpa Singh. The first season, which enjoyed a successful three-year run, concluded in February of the previous year.
Earlier this year, there were speculations about Gulki returning to Maddam Sir for the new season. However, Joshi clarified that she has not been approached for the role and is not part of the new season.
