Har Ghar Kuch Kehta Hai Zee TV's New Baby Ready to Rock!

Speaking at the Grand Launch hosted at the ITC Grand Central, Sheel Kumar of Shreya Creations said, “Its such a pleasure to work with Zee. We've been together since Piya Ka Ghar days, then Mamta, and now Har Ghar Kuch Kehta Hain. Zee's ruling the prime time slot from 7pm - 11pm and we are honored that we start the prime time slot with Mamta and are now ending the prime time slot with Har Ghar. So, its Shreya Creations that are with Zee from start to the end.”

Har Ghar Kuch Kehta Hai is an epic tale of three girls, completely different in their outlook towards life. With different ambitions, dreams and hopes but tied together by the unadulterated bond of trust, the story of Har Ghar Kuch Kehta Hai unfolds through the lives of Prarthana (Rati Pandey), Siddhi (Anchal) & Sanskriti Thakral (Amrita Prakash) until one day three of them realize that destiny is to take them elsewhere. Alok Nath as Baldev Kapoor will make a comeback in Zee TV along with Vineet Raina (Akshay Thakral) and Sachin Shroff (Gyan Kapoor).


Prarthana an orphan by birth is raised by her extended family and to get married in a happy joint family is her only wish. Next in line is Sidhhi (Prarthana’s cousin sister) who is vibrant, independent and doesn’t believe in the concept of arranged marriages. She will only get married to the man she loves. Sanskriti a model by profession is very straightforward and blunt in her attitude and can’t understand the concept of marriage at all! Her love succeeds all traditions and she doesn’t believe that a marriage can hold two people stronger than love.

Mr. Punit Goenka Business Head Zee TV and Director ZEE said, “Zee is topping the TRPs as of now for Prime time shows. With Har Ghar Kuch Kehta hain, we are going to be far ahead in the race. Har Ghar is a show, which for the first time, will be talking about real life relationships, such as arranged marriages, live in relationships, etc. Such things haven’t been shown much on the Indian Television. This show will target the youth of the ages of 20-25 and even the television soap fans. This is not going to be a saas bahu Saga, but something very much different. Shreya creations has an excellent team and we are sure that this show is going to do extremely well." When asked about the sudden change in production houses, he replied, "Your information is correct, we did change the production house, as things didn't really work out with the first one. Shreya creations have given us such big hits, that I am sure that this one is going to go well too"…

Our Telly Buzz reporter Hiral Anju Bhatt caught up with an upbeat Vineet Raina who plays Akshay Thakral, “Its great to be part of the show. Its going to be tough managing the schedules, between Maayka and Har Ghar. But I'm sure I'll do it. The reason I opted for this role is that first of all it's a lead, and secondly, the story is very much different and just like Maayka, this show is going to be a mega hit.”

The other male lead of the show Sachin Shroff, who plays Gyan Kapoor, similar to the role of Salman Khan in HAHK quotes, “I am playing one of the leads here. This story is very different. I am paired opposite Anchal, we were together in Sindoor for a while. Its much easier if you have to work with someone you've worked previously with. It doesn't take long to get the chemistry started. I play the character - Gyan Kapoor, where I am a very bubbly guy, a typical mamma's boy, a prankster to the core. This will be a nice breakthrough from my image in Sindoor." When we asked him if this will affect his schedule for Saath Phere, his reply was, "Saath Phere is just a cameo, I am doing it for just three more months, after that I am done. I am pretty sure I'll manage my schedule well".

A serial packed with a huge cast, characters with diverse mindsets and every home having a tale to tell, Har Ghar Kuch Kehta Hai is now ready to catch the attention of all viewers. Tune in to watch this new Shreya Creations Masterpiece, starting July 16, 2007 Monday to Thursday at 11 p.m.
