Mumbai police have reportedly received a threat against Salman Khan, believed to be from the Lawrence Bishnoi gang. The message presents the actor with a stark choice: apologize or pay Rs. 5 crores to ensure his safety. Salman Khan has now faced a second threat on his life within a week.
The Mumbai Police traffic control room got a message from gangster Lawrence Bishnoi last night via WhatsApp, as per police sources.
The message sent to the traffic control room claims that "Lawrence Bishnoi's brother is speaking and if Salman Khan wants to stay alive, he should go to our temple and apologise or give Rs 5 crore. If he does not do so, we will kill him, our gang is still active."
Just last week, on October 30, Mumbai traffic control received a threat against Mr. Khan, asking for Rs. 2 crore.
While at present, Salman Khan is shooting in Hyderabad for his upcoming movie Sikander. The actor is working on the A.R. Murugadoss film at the stunning Taj Falaknuma Palace in the city alongside Rashmika Mandanna. A fresh video from the filming location has emerged online, revealing the cast and crew in action.
In the clip, posted on X (formerly Twitter), the crew seemed to be filming a scene with Mandanna. The screen displayed the actress. Nonetheless, it looked like Khan was also on the set. The video also provided a peek at Mandanna's appearance in the movie. She wore plain, ethnic attire while styling her hair in a lengthy braid.
A few days after Khan was seen at the Mumbai airport, heading to Hyderabad for the film's shoot, the video emerged online. On Saturday, images and clips surfaced online featuring Khan at the private airport in Mumbai with his security team. He sported a laid-back style, wearing a sky-blue t-shirt paired with grey ripped jeans. Completing the ensemble with black shoes, a black cap, and dark sunglasses, Khan was escorted by his security personnel as he entered the airport.
