Hanu-Man maker Prasanth Varma wishes Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone on parenthood despite film's shelving

Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh are blessed with a baby girl. The little one arrived on September 8, 2024. This was on the second day of Ganpati celebrations. Celebs have flooded their social media with congratulatory messages on arrival of their first child. Hanu-Man director Prasanth Varma has also wished him. He took to X and wrote, “To new chapters and tiny feet! A huge congratulations to @RanveerOfficial and @deepikapadukone on the arrival of your little angel! With daddy’s spirit and mommy’s grace, she’s destined to shine. Wishing you and your family love, laughter, and sleepless nights filled with joy.”

Prasanth Varma and Ranveer Singh were supposed to do a film together Rakshas. It was a story based on the folklore of the Brahmarakshas. But the story got shelved due to creative differences. Mythri Movie Makers were on board as the producers. A lot of rumours had done the rounds. It was said that the producers got a shock when they saw the size of Ranveer Singh’s entourage. It was reported that the high handed behavior of the star’s team also upset those working on location. Given how South actor’s operate differently, they got a shock. 

Later, the two clarified that they had indeed shot for a bit together, their thoughts did not align. It seems the creative differences between Ranveer Singh and Prasanth Varma were huge. The press release requested fans not to believe the rumours doing the rounds. The two said that they would love to collaborate in the future. Fans have liked this gesture from Prasanth Varma for Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone. They are wondering if Varma has found the right script for Singh, and they’ll announce something soon. Ranveer Singh has movies with Farhan Akhtar and Aditya Dhar lined up for now. 

Prasanth Varma is going to directed Nandamuri Mokshagna in his debut film. He is the son of veteran Telugu star Nandamuri Balakrishna.  It seems he will play a character inspired by the Puranas. Sudhakar Cherukuri is the producer of the movie. Mokshagna has undergone intensive training for his debut role.
