Gyeongseong Creature 2 Review: Park Seo-Joon-Han So Hee's chemistry, love, angst and action enthrall viewers

The second season of Gyeongseong Creature is out on Netflix. Park Seo-joon is back as Hae-Jo while Han So Hee is Yoon Chaek-Ok. This time, the drama has shifted to modern Seoul where few people are living infected with the serum of the Najin. The biological monster was the star of the show in the first season which was set in 1945 in Korea, which was then colonized by Japan. Fans are loving the parallels between the first season and current one especially in the track of Hae-Jo and Yoon Chaek-Ok. Han So Hee has done a brilliant job whether it is the action scenes or the emotional ones. 

Amazing Han So Hee

Han So Hee is stealing hearts with her riveting performance. From her badass action sequences to the emotional ones, her eyes have done all the talking. Scenes like the first meet of Master Jang (modern time) and her, the discovery of her being a monster, and the angst-filled moments of love and loss, she has nailed it. 

Too much gore

The first season scenes of blood, gore and killing. The visuals of season two are equally gory and haunting. We can see Park Seo-joon covered in blood as he is taken to the lab.  

Return of Lady Maeda

Fans have shared that Lady Maeda is back on the show. Actress Claudia Kim played that role in the first season. We had seen that she was the mastermind behind the Najin. It is also hinted that she fancied Jang Taesang as she liked him as a man. 

Kiss between Yoon Chaek-Ok and Hae-Jo

Park Seo-joon and Han So Hee have aced the romantic scenes too. There is love, passion and angst in equal measure. The chemistry has left fans swooning. Park Seo-joon is the master of romance in Korean dramas. Yes, there are a couple of kissing scenes too! 

Perfect partners

Gyeongseong Creature 2 has an open end. It is evident that season three is being planned. The show has all elements of a universal blockbuster. An emotional love story, plot full of suspense and drama, fans have given it a huge thumbs up already.
