Bollywood actor Govinda, known for his iconic roles in the 90s, is on the road to recovery after accidentally shooting himself in the leg. The actor, who is currently undergoing treatment at a Mumbai hospital, has been visited by several close friends and colleagues, including actors Raveena Tandon and Rajpal Yadav. Both stars have shared their support and well-wishes for the beloved actor, reassuring his fans that Govinda is recovering well.
Govinda’s injury occurred when a revolver accidentally went off, injuring his leg. The 60-year-old actor underwent surgery soon after the incident and was initially placed in the ICU. However, his condition has since improved, and he has been moved to a regular ward.
Raveena Tandon, Govinda's co-star from films like Dulhe Raja and Bade Miyan Chote Miyan, was one of the first celebrities to visit him. Speaking to the media, Raveena shared that Govinda was in better spirits and that his recovery was progressing well. “He looked much better. I’m praying for his speedy recovery,” she said.
Rajpal Yadav, another longtime collaborator of Govinda, also visited him at the hospital. Rajpal, who starred alongside Govinda in movies like Partner and Bhagam Bhag, expressed relief at his friend’s condition. "Govinda bhaiya is recovering really well. He has such good karma that he survived something that could have been a terrible tragedy. He’s a legend of the industry, and we hope he returns to doing what he does best soon,” Rajpal shared with the media, praising Govinda’s positive outlook and legacy in Hindi cinema.
Govinda’s daughter, Tina Ahuja, also provided an update on his health. She shared that her father’s condition has improved significantly, and the family is hopeful he will be discharged soon. "Papa is doing much better now, and we're thankful for everyone’s prayers. He’s out of the ICU and is in a stable condition. We are looking forward to having him home soon," Tina said. Fans of Govinda have been sending their prayers and best wishes, hoping for a quick recovery for the much-loved actor.
