Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin: Harsh sets a humiliating trap for Rajat by inviting Savi to interview

In tonight's Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin episode, Isha, visibly distressed, hurriedly tells Savi (Bhavika Sharma) they need to get ready and head home because Shashank and his mother are waiting for the engagement. Savi shocks her by revealing that the engagement has been called off. Tara apologises to Rajat (Hitesh Bhardwaj) for her actions. Raju insists they must apologise to the Bhosales. He scolds Bhagyashree for sending Sai to the awards function with the irresponsible Rajat and clueless Mamta. 

Rajat mentions he withdrew the complaint and assumes they must have been released. Raju harshly rebukes him for his negligence, questioning his ability to handle a large company and win CEO awards but failing as a father. Rajat abruptly cancels an upcoming interview after receiving a reminder call from a news channel.

Savi comforts Isha:

Isha continues crying uncontrollably upon learning about Savi's canceled engagement. Savi tries to console her, suggesting it's perhaps for the best since Shashank isn't suitable as a life partner, calling him a coward. Isha questions why bad things always happen to Savi, who has done nothing wrong. 

Meanwhile, a constable watches a news report where TV anchor Chitra, accuses college principal Shantanu and vice-principal Isha of kidnapping Rajat Thakkar's daughter. Aman tries to comfort a guilt-ridden Rajat, urging him to focus on other matters despite his wrongdoing toward Savi's family. Rajat, sipping alcohol, admits to feeling confused. 

Harsh plots against Rajat:

Tara approaches him, claiming responsibility for the situation and absolving him of blame. Rajat acknowledges Savi's accusation that he's not a good father, admitting his neglect of Sai and punishing her for Ashika's mistakes. Tara suggests he should proceed with an interview if he wishes to punish Ashika and Harsh. Aman and Bhagyashree echo this sentiment. Chitra informs Harsh that Rajat has agreed to the interview, prompting Harsh's satisfaction. 

Chitra is puzzled by his insistence on the interview and spreading false news about Savi's family kidnapping Rajat's daughter, despite knowing Savi's innocence. Harsh defends Savi, seeing her as a girl of moral integrity who will seek retribution for the injustice. He instructs Chitra to arrange an interview for Savi to confront Rajat.

Kidnapping accusation affects Savi:

The next morning, Rajat, preparing for work, notices missed calls from Savi and assumes they're related to Sai. He hesitates at her door, recalling his hurtful treatment of her, and walks away without ringing the bell. Isha, still emotionally overwhelmed, informs her family that she's been trying to reach Shashank and his family, but they're not responding. She worries that Shashank's concern for his career, given Rajat's influence, may have led to the engagement being called off. She resolves to apologise to the Thakkars and, persuade Rajat to rectify the misunderstanding and convince Shashank to reconsider within a day or two. Savi sternly asks her not to apologise to the Thakkars, emphasising Ishaan's promise. Isha expresses her desire to witness Savi's engagement, but Savi firmly shuts her down, warning her of dire consequences if she mentions the engagement again. Isha reluctantly relents.

Savi receives a call from the school principal inquiring about the news. Despite Savi's protestations of innocence, the principal expresses concern about the calls from parents and the impact on the school's reputation. Distressed, Savi shares this with Harini and Mrumayi. Mrumayi sympathises, suggesting that Savi's kindness is often exploited, particularly by Rajat, who mistreats her consistently. 

Rajat summons Shashank:

Chitra, on behalf of Harsh, calls Savi to confess to airing the fake news about her. Outraged, Savi confronts Chitra, who admits to spreading falsehoods to manipulate public opinion ahead of Rajat's scheduled interview at 5 p.m. Chitra urges Savi to attend the interview and expose Rajat. Harsh, revelling in his scheme to undermine Rajat, vows to take back what Rajat took from him. Savi resolves to confront Rajat and expose his deceit during the interview.

Rajat summons Shashank to his office, criticising Savi's actions toward him and attributing their broken engagement to her behaviour. He offers Shashank a lucrative business contract to manage all his corporate events for a year if he agrees to marry Savi. Rajat then instructs his assistant to inform the media of his impending interview.

During the interview, Rajat portrays himself as a successful figure who connects with people through his achievements. When asked about balancing work with fatherhood, Rajat defends his emotional involvement with his daughter. Savi interjects, throwing a report at him and accusing him of neglecting his daughter when she was critically ill after accidentally consuming adult medication. She reveals how she saved his daughter's life, only to be unjustly imprisoned by Rajat.
