Everyone is a suspect & everyone is suspicious in the new song 'Farebi' from 'Neeyat'

Ahead of the release of highly anticipated Vidya Balan starrer Neeyat, the makers of the film unveiled an intriguing track titled ‘Farebi’ today. The music video featuring the ensemble cast displays a gamut of emotions through the characters, and sets the perfect base for the enigmatic murder mystery. ‘Farebi’ is composed by Mikey McCleary, sung by Lothika Jha and written by Kausar Munir. With infectious beats and suspense filled tunes, this track will captivate the audience and take them into the mysterious world of Neeyat.

Set in the breathtakingly beautiful highlands of Scotland, Neeyat revolves around the glamorous world of billionaire Ashish Kapoor (Ram Kapoor) and his close circle of family and friends, where everyone is tangled in their own web of secrets. When Ashish Kapoor ends up being murdered at his own party, it is up to detective Mira Rao (Vidya Balan) to uncover the hidden motives and mysteries in this classic whodunnit. 

Produced by the Vikram Malhotra-led Abundantia Entertainment and co-produced by Prime Video, the murder mystery marks Vidya Balan’s return to theatres after her successful digital stint with three super hit films - from the family entertainer ‘Shakuntala Devi’ (2020) to the critically hailed ‘Sherni’ (2021) and finally the impactful blockbuster ‘Jalsa’ (2022).

Neeyat will release across theatres worldwide on July 7. And when it comes to Vidya's upcoming projects otherwise, she is all set to be a part of the untitled film with Pratik Gandhi, Sendhil Ramamurthy and Illeana D'Cruz, and seemingly the film, Chand Bhai where she is set to co-star Akshaye Khanna and will be directed by Nikkhil Advani.
