Don 3: Ranveer Singh, Farhan Akhtar to start the film in February 2025

Ranveer Singh and Farhan Akhtar’s Don 3 shoot was supposed to start in October 2024. It seems the team from Excel Entertainment was planning to shoot in five different locations across the world. The Don franchise is known for its adrenaline raising action, thrills and glamour. While the makers announced that Ranveer Singh is indeed stepping in as the new Don, there was not much buzz after that. In between, news spread that Don 3 was shelved. As we know, Ranveer Singh and Prasanth Varma film did not materialise after a week of shoot due to creative differences. This led to more speculations. 

Farhan Akhtar has ended all the speculation by saying that Don 3 will go on floors in the month of February 2025. As we know, Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone are expecting their first baby in the month of September 2024. The new dad would like to spend some time with his new-born and wife before he dives into Don 3. Ranveer Singh had expressed this wish before. It looks like the recce for Don 3 is on. The estimated budget of the film is around Rs 250 to 275 crores. The shoot will happen mostly in Europe. 

When Don 3 was announced, fans of Shah Rukh Khan were upset saying that the star is irreplaceable. Stories of how Farhan Akhtar did not make the film in the lean phase of Shah Rukh Khan upset fans of the superstar. Later, it was revealed that SRK did not show interest as he felt it was not the right film to be in for him.
