Dil Dosti Dance fame Jason Tham gets married to Deeksha Sonalkar

It looks like many celebrities are deciding to settle down soon. Post Rahul Vaidya and Disha Parmar’s wedding earlier this year, many celebrities decided to walk the aisle and take the plunge. From actors like Abhishek Malik to Shireen Mirza, Ayush Agarwal, Vishal Vasishth and Nikita Sharma many actors recently got married.

There are also a number of celebs who will soon get married including Mansi Srivastava and Sayantani Ghosh.

Well, the good news is that Dil Dosti Dance fame actor and dancer Jason Tham has also taken the plunge. Jason was engaged to actress Deeksha Sonalkar. The actor got married this afternoon and before his big day he spoke about the same with India Forums. He said, “The wedding was initially planned to happen in April 2021, but due to the lockdown, we pushed the date and now when things are going back to normal, we decided to get married. We will be following Maharashtrian rituals for the wedding. On 20th we will have a close-knit wedding function followed by a reception on 21st November”.

Jason and Deeksha have a group of common friends including actors Sanam Johar and Abigail Pandey who’re extremely excited for the couple’s big day. The couple also has an interesting hashtag for their wedding #DilThamKar (culmination of Jason and Deeksha’s surname). Throwing light on the creative hashtag, Jason revealed, “Well, we brain stormed on the same for a while and came up with a couple of quirky hashtags. One of them was #DJOnTheRocks but we really like #DilThamKar which was curated by Deeksha’s father. He randomly suggested it and we immediately locked it as we loved it to the core”.

Talking about honeymoon plans, Jason said, “Well, I have a few professional commitments and for me work is worship because of the same, we haven’t really thought about honeymoon destination. We’re just wanting to enjoy our wedding followed by fulfilling professional commitments along with taking some rest as the wedding preps have made us quite exhausted. I believe, we will go somewhere when we both have a good break. Will think about visiting Europe, may be”.
