Dharma Productions clocks 42: Karan Johar shares a montage video of their glorious films

We all have been growing up Dharma films which celebrate all forms of emotions, be it love, friendship, brotherhood, patriotism and have been offering audiences with some of its best works. 

Today, the production company, currently run by Karan Johar completed 42 years and KJo has all the right reasons to celebrate. Owing to the occasion, he took to his social media handle and shared a montage video, giving a tribute to all the Dharma films. Clips from each film can be seen playing with them being categorised under different words like, 'dosti', 'junoon', 'sukoon' and 'pyaar'. 

Sharing the video Karan Johar wrote, "Today marks another year of the beautiful family, nurtured by my father - Dharma Productions! Over the years, we've told stories with the hope to spread the magic of cinema across the world. Stories that transcend boundaries, languages and more - only to bind everyone with the thread of an emotion. As the years go by, this thread only grows stronger and I'm eternally grateful for that. Thank you for being part of our Dharma Family, thank you for making this journey a phenomenal one. See you at the movies #42YearsOfDharma”

Many other people from the fraternity and Karan’s friends also congratulated him and commented on his post.

Dharma’s productions’ last film Brahmastra was a huge success and have been receiving rave reviews especially for its VFX. The film helmed by Ayan Mukerji featured Alia Bhatt, Ranbir Kapoor, Amitabh Bachchan, Nagarjuna and Mouni Roy.

Apart from this, Karan Johar recently completed filming his next directorial venture ‘Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani’. The film touted to be a family drama will be headlined by Alia Bhatt and Ranveer Singh.
