Deepika Padukone comes onboard for Shah Rukh Khan starrer 'Jawan': Reports

Bollywood star Shah Rukh Khan will be returning to big screen after a long time and hence is doing all things necessary. Pathaan, Jawan, and Dunki - the superstar has three films rolling for 2023, with Pathaan premiering on January 25 2023. All three movies have strong star casts, and the stage is prepared for the superstar to make a triumphant return. 

And now, according to a report from Pinkvilla, it is revealed that Deepika Padukone will be making a brief appearance in this action-packed entertainer, fronted by SRK with Nayanthara, Sanya Malhotra, Rana Daggubati, and Sunil Grover.

The report further stated,

"Deepika, SRK, and Atlee have been in discussions for some time, and she is about to make a brief but significant cameo in the movie. The actress has agreed although the paperwork is still pending".

The report also mentioned that Shah Rukh Khan was in Hyderabad recently with his director SRK and even met Deepika in the city. As the actress was shooting for Prabhas starrer Project K in Hyderabad, King Khan and Atlee met her and also discussed about her role in the film.

In the meantime, Deepika has a busy lineup of films. Also rumors have gone abuzz that she will appear in Brahmastra at the conclusion and will eventually play the female protagonist in parts 2 and 3 of this Ayan Mukerji universe. Her character traits have been kept under wraps for now.
