On the professional front, Samantha Ruth Prabhu is riding high on the success of her recent web series, Citadel: Honey Bunny. She portrays the character of a secret agent and a mother in this project directed by Raj & DK. During a recent interview, she candidly discussed her experiences and emotions about embracing motherhood.

During her chat with Times Now, Samantha Ruth Prabhu delved into her portrayal as a mother in Citadel: Honey Bunny. She expressed her anticipation of motherhood in real life and her desire to establish a settled life. Samantha emphasized that age should not hinder anyone from embracing the journey of becoming a mother. 

The actress said, “I don’t think it’s too late. I still have dreams of being a mother and yeah of course I would love to be a mother. I have always wanted to be a mother, it’s quite a beautiful experience. I am looking forward to it. People often worry about age, but I think there is no time in life when you cannot be a mother."

Samantha shared insights on collaborating with a young actor in Citadel: Honey Bunny, expressing how the experience resonated with her as if she were interacting with her own daughter. She also candidly discussed navigating life post-divorce and following her myositis diagnosis.

She said, “I’m in a very happy space right now. I know how to take care of myself and focus on what matters. I think I’m in a very good phase in life. I’m genuinely very happy and I feel I’m blessed to have the opportunity to live every day to the fullest and I think that I might not have been so grateful for an ordinary day before. But now I am!"

On the personal front, Samantha announced her divorce from Naga Chaitanya in 2021. Naga is now all set to marry actress Sobhita.
