Dalljiet Kaur says Shalin Bhanot 'too busy' to check in on his son

Actress Dalljiet Kaur, widely recognised for her role in Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon, has recently been under the media spotlight due to her relationship with her estranged husband, Nikhil Patel, a businessman based in Kenya. The latest development involves a viral response from Dalljiet to a fan's advice suggesting she should reconcile with her ex-husband, Shalin Bhanot, amidst her allegations of Nikhil having an extramarital affair.

Known for being active on social media, Dalljiet has been sharing a mix of motivational and heart-wrenching quotes since her return to Mumbai.

Recently, on Instagram, Dalljiet posted a reel featuring a matching tattoo with her husband, which she intends to redesign. The tattoo, positioned just above her ankle, displays a movie clapper with 'Take 2' written in English, along with the date 07/09/22 and an Urdu word above these elements. In her post, Dalljiet encouraged her followers to come up with creative ideas for the redesign, expressing her desire for something fun and imaginative as part of her healing process.

In the comments section of the reel, a fan advised Dalljiet to reconnect with Shalin, tagging him in the message. He wrote, "Talk with Shaleen and patch up with him." Dalljiet's response to this suggestion, "He has not messaged or reached out. I don't think he is interested to know what must have happened with his son. He must be too busy," has caught significant media attention. This comment, made two days ago, has recently resurfaced and is currently generating considerable buzz. 

Dalljiet's words reflect a profound sense of pain over Shalin's seeming lack of concern for their child, especially at a time when she could have used his support the most.

For the unversed, Dalljiet got married to Shalin in 2009. They even have a son together named Jaydon. However, the duo parted ways in 2015 after she accused him of domestic violence. And now, Dalljiet is in an ugly war with her 'husband' Nikhil Patel, as she has filed an FIR against him.

Additionally, just a few days ago, Dalljiet shared a heartfelt birthday post for Nikhil Patel, which featured personal moments with him and her son, Jaydon. Interestingly, the post was deleted shortly after it was published, leaving fans and followers speculating about the reasons behind the sudden change. 

Days later, Dalljiet revealed that she had filed an FIR against Nikhil under sections 85 and 316 (2) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, accusing him of cruelty and cheating. She claimed that by refusing to acknowledge their traditional marriage, Nikhil had betrayed her, especially after a viral video surfaced showing him enjoying time with his girlfriend, Safeena.
