Dalljiet Kaur is facing a challenging time in her life, battling a legal dispute with her ex-husband, Nikhil Patel. Initially, their marriage appeared idyllic, resembling a fairytale. Dalljiet openly showed her affection for Nikhil, even going as far as tearing her mother's gifted saree for him, as per recent reports.

As per Times Now, Dalljiet Kaur's mom lovingly gave her the trousseau before she moved to Kenya. But, her ex-husband Nikhil Patel wished to use her mom's saree as a sofa cover. In compliance with Nikhil's request, Dalljiet tore the saree to create the sofa cover.

According to the portal's sources, Dalljiet was in tears as her saree was cut into bits and pieces to fulfill her husband's wish. The Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon 2 actress holds traditions close to her heart and became deeply emotional when she took this action. Believing the sofa symbolized their love, she embraced Nikhil's request.

Currently, Dalljiet is eagerly awaiting the arrival of her precious belongings from Nikhil's residence in Kenya. When he threatened to donate her possessions to charity, she sought legal intervention to halt his actions. Subsequently, Nikhil relocated Dalljiet's items to a storage facility.

In the midst of their legal dispute, Dalljiet requested ownership of the sofa, holding sentimental value due to the covers made from her torn saree. Despite this, Nikhil ripped the cover and retained some fragments in the storage area.

The source also shared with the publication that Nikhil is now posting images of the sofa with a fresh cover. For those unaware, Nikhil recently posted a picture of the sofa on his Instagram stories, revealing a new yellow cover on the sofa.

The source even told the portal, "It's embarrassing how this man is flaunting his cruelty and being proud of it. She had torn her saree to become a part of his life forever. It had a lot of emotional value to it as it was a saree given to her by her mother on the wedding day. In fact, the cloth that Nikhil's sister tied during the gathbandhan, they had turned that as well into a lamp shade. It was supposed to be memory for life. Instead of giving her the sofas, Nikhil Patel chose to rip off Dalljiet Kaur's saree in shreds."
