Although forthcoming film "Commando" is a high voltage action drama, its lead actor Vidyut Jamwal says no one was injured while shooting the actioner.
"The movie was made with full preparation. When we discussed the movie with (producer) Vipul Shah, we decided that we will rehearse and make it a no-injury movie," he said.
"We are trying to break all barometers and cross all set standards with the movie. We used a lot of safety (measures) to ensure that no one was injured," added the actor.
The film's first look was launched Thursday and the 34-year-old was talking at the same event.
Trained in Kalaripayattu, a martial art form of Kerala, Vidyut says they have used it in a way no one has till now.
"My base is Kalaripayattu, the Indian martial art form which is officially believed to be the mother of all martial arts. We have done everything with Kalari what everyone does, and in fact better," said the actor earlier seen as an antagonist in "Force".
When asked if he strives to be like any action hero in Bollywood, Vidyut said: "I believe every human being is unique, so I can't say that I have learned this or I wanted to be like this. I want to be unique, I am unique too and everyone should realise they are unique. So we should not compare ourselves with others."
Directed by Dilip Ghosh, "Commando" also stars former Miss India Pooja Chopra and Jaideep Ahlawat.
The film is slated for an April 12 release.
