Bollywood Celebs shower love as Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh announce arrival of their baby girl

On Sunday, Bollywood’s beloved couple Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh joyfully welcomed their first child, a baby girl. They shared this heartwarming news through an Instagram post, much to the delight of their fans and fellow celebrities.

The announcement of their baby girl led to a flurry of congratulatory messages from across the industry. Stars like Kriti Sanon, Parineeti Chopra, and Arjun Kapoor quickly took to social media to express their happiness and extend their best wishes to the new parents. Deepika and Ranveer's Instagram post confirmed the arrival of their daughter with a simple yet sweet message: “Welcome baby girl! 8.9.2024, Deepika & Ranveer”.

The news sparked a wave of affection and excitement from friends, fans, and well-wishers. Alia Bhatt showered love on Deepika with a bunch of emoticons, including red hearts and congratulatory faces. Priyanka Chopra, Deepika and Ranveer’s Bajirao Mastani co-star, also commented on the post, saying, “Congratulations ??”.

Deepika and Ranveer’s announcement did not include a caption but simply displayed a message on a plain white background reading, “Welcome baby girl! 8.9.2024, Deepika & Ranveer”. Reports indicate that their daughter was born at Mumbai’s HN Reliance Hospital. The couple had announced their pregnancy earlier this year in February and had hinted at the arrival of their baby in September.

Deepika and Ranveer first met while filming Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s romantic drama Goliyon Ki Raasleela Ram-Leela and went on to star together in Bajirao Mastani and Padmaavat. On the work front, Deepika is set to appear in Singham Again, directed by Rohit Shetty, which will release during Diwali 2024. Her husband Ranveer Singh will also star in the film, making it an exciting project for the couple.
