Bollywood Celebrities starrer web series to look forward to in 2018

Saif Ali Khan, R. Madhavan, and Richa Chadda among others have interesting web series coming up.

After starring in some fabulous films and entertaining us on the big screens, few Bollywood celebrities are now all set to star in web series by setting their foot into digital platforms. Web series are increasingly becoming a popular area of creativity with some innovative ad exciting content.

Bollywood names such as Swara Bhaskar, Ali Fazal and Nimrat Kaur have essayed lead roles in web series and 2018 has new Bollywood faces joining this bandwagon. With the likes of Saif Ali Khan, R. Madhavan and Irrfan Khan, 2018 will see these Bollywood celebrities in one of its kind web series.

1. Saif Ali Khan in Sacred Games - This Netflix show will mark Saif's foray into web series. Saif has affirmed that this will be the best show coming out of India and he is hopeful that everyone will be proud of it. Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Radhika Apte will also be a part of the same.

2. Irrfan Khan in Ministry - A favourite actor of the renowned comedy group All India Bakchod, Irrfan is all set to star in an Amazon Original Series, The Ministry, which will be a political satire set in contemporary India's corridors of power.

3. R. Madhavan in Breathe - Touted as India's first medical thriller, Breathe will be Madhavan's first web series. The first look and the trailer appear impressive which has left us intrigued. A tale of a helpless father trying to save his son is the plotline of this series.

4. Richa Chadda, Vivek Oberoi and Angad Bedi in Inside Edge - After a successful season 1, Amazon's most-watched show on prime video in India will be back with its season 2.

5. Nimrat Kaur in The Test Case - With an interesting concept of a character preparing to be the first woman test case in a combat role, the test case stars Nimrat Kaur, Atul Kulkarni, Rahul Dev, Manit Joura, and Akshay Oberoi in lead roles. Actress Juhi Chawla will be a guest appearance in the show. The pilot episode of this web series is available on ALT Balaji App.
