I can’t even understand how anyone can call this shamelessness entertainment. I feel disgusted just hearing about it. Gross. I mean, in just 6/7 days, love happened, marriage happened, and then the same thing with the wife’s best friend. This is beyond my imagination."

In a recent interview, Payal Malik addressed Devoleena's comments head-on. She reminded Devoleena of the online trolling she faced when she married a Muslim man. Payal urged Devoleena to refrain from interfering in their personal lives and emphasized that it was unfair for Devoleena to judge them publicly. Payal pointed out that despite the criticism Devoleena faced for her interfaith marriage, the Malik family chose not to comment on it.

A person needs a higher level of knowledge to compare interfaith marriage with polygamy, which I am sure intelligent people are quite aware of. It's not only my right but every Indian's right to stand against illegal acts like polygamy, which they are proud to flaunt on national television. It's a matter of individual fate. Just don't make a mockery of the lives of those poor women who suffer daily because of this nonsense. 

Do whatever you want inside your home. Why stop at two? Have 2, 4, or 5 marriages. Just don't spread this disease in society. Each word I said, I mean it and still stand by it. My husband is Muslim and loyal to his wife, and we took 4 years to understand each other before getting married. Not in merely 7 days. Also, a woman's self-respect shouldn't be compromised. Honestly, I feel pity for you. But if this is how you wanted your marriage to be, so be it. Everything could be a YouTube content for you guys, but not for me. So carry on. Signing off..."
