Bigg Boss 18: Kanwar Dhillon clears the air around marriage plans with Alice Kaushik

Kanwar Dhillon, known for his role in Udne Ki Aasha, recently addressed the controversy surrounding his relationship with Bigg Boss 18 contestant Alice Kaushik. After Alice’s statement about his alleged marriage proposal was shared in the house, Kanwar’s reaction outside led to criticism from fans and celebrities alike. The host, Salman Khan, informed Alice about Kanwar’s stance, leaving her hurt. Reacting to the comments, Kanwar shared his thoughts on the entire episode.

Kanwar expressed that he doesn’t feel the need to keep justifying himself, emphasizing his support for Alice. Talking about the online reactions, he said, “People perceived that in their own way and commented on it. Woh duniya ka kaam hai, tawa garam tha aur roti sekne aa gaye. They just commented watching the promo and didn't understand what I was trying to say.” He believes the reactions were based on misinterpretations rather than understanding his actual words.

Calling the critics "paid reviewers," Kanwar shared that he doesn’t respond to such people. “Those who have a doubt can call me and ask. I don't think I need to clarify to those whom I don't know. When things are good, people don't come to ask, right? So what's the point in poking nose when something else happens?” he added, making it clear he won’t waste energy on clarifications.

Kanwar also showed his support for Alice and her friends, including Avinash Mishra and Eisha Singh. He believes other housemates, along with two wildcard entrants, may hold a grudge against them. This loyalty reflects his commitment to his girlfriend and her close friends within the show.

In an earlier statement with ETimes, Kanwar dismissed the marriage rumor, saying, “Shaadi ka chakkar Mujhe Samajh nahi aaya. I don’t know where these rumours are coming from. Don’t believe social media, as most of the things are fake and rubbish.” He made it clear that he doesn’t plan on getting married on national television, hoping to stop the speculation.

Salman’s revelation of Kanwar’s response left Alice emotional, and she broke down after hearing it. The incident drew sympathy from fans, including Aly Goni, who tweeted in support of Alice, expressing his sadness over her reaction.
