Bhumi Pednekar’s Naagin inspired look has made people wonder if she’s competing with Uorfi Javed - WATCH

Bhumi Pednekar, in the past two years, has managed to surprise people with some unique sartorial outings. Some of the looks might have been trolled but there is no denying that they grabbed notice. Also, they are truly different from the staple of metallic lehenga choli or fitted gowns on red carpet. For the GQ Best Dressed 2024 Awards, she has turned up in a white lehenga and choli. The ivory white lehenga had lotuses done on it in gold motifs. Bhumi’s choli reminds us of what we saw on paintings of nymphs done by traditional Indian artistes who painted mythology. 

What has caught our attention is the bulletproof vest over the choli. We do not know if she wore it to avoid any malfunction but the accessory sure grabs attention. The conical bust design is embellished with two snakes made of metal. This is not all. The best also covers her midriff in a design that reflects the baby bump of a woman. While netizens might go wild with their imagination, snakes and pregnancy do have a link in certain cultures. It is said that pregnant women do dream of snakes. Also dreams of reptiles is a sign of a wise baby in the making. As we know, the snake is also the symbol of sexual desires and longing of a woman for a man’s intimacy.
