#BB12: Shaleen Bhanot REVEALS the real reason for not doing the show with ex-wife Dalljeit Kaur!

A few months before Bigg Boss Season 12 went on air, alongside many celebrity names that were speculated to enter the controversial reality show, there were two names - Shaleen Bhanot and Dalljeit Kaur, who were also said to be approached.

It was weird considering the fact that the duo, who was once married and have a son together, went through a nasty separation, before opting for an out of court settlement.

However, while speaking to a leading tabloid, Shaleen confirmed that both he and ex-wife Dalljeit were indeed approached for the show. However, considering all things that went down between the couple during their very public' separation, Shaleen decided against doing the show.

Shaleen also revealed to the tabloid that he was doing very well in life and wanted no such thing that would tamper with his bond with son Jaydon.

He concluded by saying that he was also not very comfortable discussing his past on the show and on national television.

Confirming that the channel had approached him for the ongoing season, the actor says, "When I spoke to the makers, they told me that the theme was jodis. They wanted me in the house with Daljiet. But after thinking over it, I decided not to opt for it because of my son [Shaarav]."

In 2015, Bhanot split from Kaur with the latter accusing him of domestic violence. After a public spat, the couple opted for an out of court settlement. "After all that has happened over the years, I am finally in a good space, career wise and personally. My son and I have got closer, which is a big deal for me. I don't want to do anything to jeopardise it," says Bhanot, adding that the voyeuristic nature of the show would work against him.

"It's a great opportunity, but discussing my past on TV where you have no control over what people might say, would do me no good."
