'Baji': Shreyas Talpade happy to bag superhero role

Shreyas Talpade is making a comeback to Marathi cinema as an actor after seven years with superhero film "Baji" and calls it "one of the most wonderful decisions of my life".

"As a kid everybody has this aspiration, dream or ambition to be a superhero someday.

"When (director) Nikhil Mahajan and (producer) Suhrud Godbole offered me the role of a superhero, I was blown away, and I didn't want to lose out on this opportunity," said Shreyas at the trailer launch of "Baji" in Mumbai Tuesday.

"I am very glad that that I took this chance and it proved to be one of the most wonderful decisions of my life," he added.

"Baji", the first superhero film in Marathi, also stars Amruta Khanvilkar and Jitendra Joshi. The film is slated for release in February next year.
