Ayushmann Khurrana sports British guard outfit for 'An Action Hero'

Bollywood actor Ayushmann Khurrana is always known for his quirky film choices, is reportedly filming in London for his upcoming film, 'An Action Hero.' Anirudh Iyer is directing the film, which is produced by Aanand L Rai and Bhushan Kumar. Actor Jaideep Ahlawat is also filming in the city with Ayushmann.

The Chandigarh Kare Aashique actress was recently spotted filming near Trafalgar Square in London. It is a well-known location in the city, with Shah Rukh Khan (DDLJ, Jab Tak Hai Jaan) and Salman Khan (Salaam-E-Ishq) having previously shot here.

The Badhaai Ho actor was spotted giving a walking shot while dressed in a vintage British Guard uniform. It's unclear whether he's portraying a British Guard or simply acting in a scene. It'll be fascinating to see him try something new yet again!

Also taking to his Instagram handle, Ayshmann shared a quirky motion teaser of the upcoming film, along with announcing his co-star Jaideep.

Ayushmann had previously described the script as new and radical. He said,

"I'm pleased to be collaborating with Aanand sir for the third time, and I hope our track record of entertaining audiences around the world with revolutionary writing continues with Action Hero."

Featuring an artist's journey, both in front and behind the lens, the Anirudh Iyer directorial is set to enthral the audience with its slick action and offbeat satirical sense of humour. 

The film is co-produced by Colour Yellow and T-Series.Ace filmmaker Aanand L Rai, who is co-producing the film, shared that they will be experimenting with this genre for the first time. It is said that the makers are aiming to release the film in 2022.
