Ayushmann Khurana reveals the first song he sung for Tahira Kashyap; pens a heartfelt note on her birthday

Actor Ayushmann Khurrana and Tahira Kashyap are one of the favourite couples in B-town. The duo is looked up by fans as they give some major relationship goals.

Well today, the Chandigarh Kare Aashiqui actor took to his social media and penned a loving birthday note for his wife Tahira and also revealed the first ever song that he had crooned for his lady love. 

The 37-year-old actor on his Instagram, shared a video compilation of precious memories with the song ‘Bade Acche Lagte Hai’ playing in the background.

Along with the video, Ayushmann wrote,

“Happy birthday @tahirakashyap! This was the first song I’d sung for you sitting at the staircase of Sukhna lake in the winters of 2001. Kaafi din se gaana nahi gaaya aapke liye. I need to do that soon. Don’t miss me now. Ok. Umm..” 

Currently, Khurana is in London, shooting for Anirudh Iyer’s ‘An Action Hero’. This film marks the actor's maiden stint in the action genre.

Apart from ‘An Action Hero’, Khurana will also be seen in Anubhuti Kashyap’s ‘Doctor G’ alongside Rakul Preet and Shefali Shah. 

He also has Anubhav Sinha’s ‘Anek’ in the pipeline. Speaking about his choice of films, he said that he tries to bring out the stories rooted in Indian nature.

Ayushmann had recently told a news portal, 

“I try to tell stories that are essentially rooted in the Indian microcosm and are about real people and their real lives in our culturally diverse country. I think that's why these stories have resonated with people not just in India but also with Indians who live abroad or with people who are interested to know more about our country.”

He was last seen in Abhishek Kapoor’s ‘Chandigarh Kare Aashiqui’ co-starring Vaani Kapoor in the lead role. The film received positive reviews from the audience and the critics alike.
