Asha Negi Opens up on Her Time With Jeetendra On Sets Of Baarish 2

After the amazing success of Baarish on ALTBalaji, the series will soon stream its second instalment.

In the previous season of the show, the audience witnessed a tale of Anuj, a successful Gujarati businessman who gets married to his educated, Maharashtrian employee, Gauravi, a middle-class girl and their fledgeling love story faces a series of obstacles from unexpected quarters.

One of the major highlights of Baarish 2 is Bollywood veteran actor Jeetendra’s cameo. Ekta Kapoor had announced the same on social media which created a lot of buzz around the release of the project.

Asha Negi recently spoke more about working with the legendary actor in the show, she said, “It was lovely having Jeetu sir on board. We used to eagerly wait for him to shoot. He liked to be on the set even if he wasn’t required for the shot, he used to be on the floors and see the shoot. He didn’t like to sit and wait in the vanity. He is extremely cute”.

She further added, “Jeetu sir used to narrate interesting stories from his time and we all used to gather around him like school kids and listen closely to those stories”.

"I had the opportunity to share the screen with him and it was a marvellous experience. Learned a lot from him. He is super cute and precious” she concluded.

The second season of Baarish launches on the 6th of May on ALTBalaji and ZEE5.
