Honeymoon Photographer Trailer: Asha Negi takes center stage as the prime suspect in this mystery

Asha Negi is making a strong return to television in the upcoming thriller series Honeymoon Photographer. Known for her romantic and family-centered roles, she is now stepping into a new avatar as Ambika Nath, a honeymoon photographer. This JioCinema series, directed by Arjun Srivastava, is set to be a gripping mystery. The six-episode show also features well-known actors like Sahil Salathia, Apeksha Porwal, Rajeev Siddhartha, and Rituraj Singh.

On Thursday, the creators shared the trailer of Honeymoon Photographer on social media, teasing viewers with the caption, “Ek photographer, ek picture-perfect honeymoon aur ek deadly secret. Who’s the killer?” The story revolves around Adhir Irani (Sahil Salathia) and Zoya Irani (Apeksha Porwal), a newlywed couple enjoying their honeymoon in the Maldives. But the joy quickly fades when Adhir is found dead, buried on the beach.

The sudden death of Adhir leads to a suspenseful investigation. His friends, family, and wife become the main suspects. Ambika, who was present that night but can’t remember what happened, finds herself at the center of the police’s investigation. Adding to the mystery, her date, Rihen (Rajeev Siddhartha), is nowhere to be found, making her the prime suspect in this case.

The investigation is led by Divya Sawant (Samvedna Suwalka), a cop with her own agenda. The trailer hints at the complex personalities of each character, with a mix of betrayal, ambition, and a tangled web of lies and deceit. The layered storyline promises many twists as the secrets unravel.

Adding to the excitement, Asha Negi recently posted a picture on social media holding a camera, captioning it, “A new perspective, a new path — thinking of changing careers.. how about photography..??” Fans quickly linked the post to her role in the series, showing their excitement in the comments.

Speaking to ANI, Asha Negi expressed her enthusiasm for this new role. She said, “In my career, I have essayed several roles, but a majority of them have been romantic and family-centric. I saw Honeymoon Photographer as a breath of fresh air since the premise of the show is very different from what you’d assume it to be from the title.”
