Anushka Sharma spills the beans about splitting kitchen duties with her husband, Virat Kohli

While chatting openly about her life, the actress spilled the beans on how she and Virat Kohli split kitchen duties to teach their future kids something special.

The actress spilled the beans that her and her beau, Indian cricket champ Virat Kohli, whip up meals for their little ones, Vamika and Akaay. Diving deeper into it, she shared that they stick to this routine to hand down their moms' secret recipes to the next gen. She reminisced about a convo they had at home, agreeing that if they don't cook up the dishes their moms used to make, those treasured recipes won't make it to their kiddos.

So, there are days when I'm in charge of the kitchen, and then there are days when my hubby takes over. We both put in the effort to recreate our moms' cooking style. "I cheat a little by calling my mom to ask for recipes, but it’s so important. It’s like you’re passing on something valuable to your children," Anushka Sharma shared with The Indian Express.

On top of all that, the queen bee ensures her munchkins stick to a schedule, despite their frequent family travels. "I am very particular about routine," Sharma shared, mentioning their frequent family travels and the many adjustments their kids face. Establishing a routine gives them a sense of stability. She explained that meal and bedtime are consistent, regardless of their location. "It helps them regulate themselves much better," she added.

It's been a minute since we caught a glimpse of Anushka in India post the arrival of her second kiddo, son Akaay. The last time she was spotted in the country was during her hubby's IPL matches earlier this year. On the professional front, she's got an upcoming flick in the pipeline called Chakda 'Xpress.
