Amrita Arora, Raai Laxmi, Kim Sharma and more Indian actresses who romances with cricketers fizzled out

Amrita Arora had fallen in love with Usman Afzaal in2004 – 2005, and the two were besotted with one another. She had said that he was the last love of her life. He was an English cricketer of Pakistani origin. The two continued their relationship for more than three years but had to breakup as they could not sustain a long distance relationship. She had even said that they had plans to marry and would announce it when the time is right. Amrita Arora was heartbroken when they split in 2008. But after a year, she settled down with Shakeel Ladak. 

Kim Sharma

Kim Sharma and Yuvraj Singh dated for four long years. It was one of the strongest actor and cricketer affairs of that era. The two made joint appearances at events and were not shy to show off their love. But things abruptly ended in 2007. It was said the two were about to get hitched. Many said it happened as Shabnam Singh, the mother of Yuvraj did not like Kim or the idea of her son marrying her. But sources denied the news. It seems she had become obsessive and possessive, traits that deeply impacted the psyche of Yuvraj Singh as a man and as a player. This is why it ended. She went to Kenya where she met Ali Punjani and married him. 

Sushmita Sen

When Wasim Akram and Sushmita Sen met on the sets of Ek Khiladi Ek Haseena, they got embroiled in dating rumours. The camaraderie of the two got people talking. They even made joint entries to events. His wife had died in 2009. Later, Sushmita Sen said he was in a relationship and such baseless gossip was hurtful for the concerned parties. She clarified that he is a just a good friend and nothing else. 

Nagma

There were huge rumours of Sourav Ganguly being in a secretive relationship with actress Nagma. The two had met at an event and sparks flew instantly. He was then married to his childhood sweetheart, Dona Ganguly. The cricketer never spoke about the matter. It seems it ended when their daughter Sana was born. Nagma did not take his name but said in an interview that at time hate does not let two successful people from different fields come together. But she said the genuine relationship remains. 

Raai Laxmi

MS Dhoni and Raai Laxmi dated for a couple of years before he married Sakshi Rawat. She said that it was never a relationship in the truest sense. Raai Laxmi has said that it is a scar that will never fade from her life. The reasons for the split were never elaborated on by both the parties involved.
