Anupamaa: Vanraj is exposed; Toshu is impressed by his clever fraud

Tonight's Anupamaa episode begins with Anupama advising Babuji to reconsider, mentioning that she just had a conversation with Baa. Indra suggests that if they can be together, there's no need to stay apart. Bala chimes in, saying there's no reason to love from a distance when true love is within reach. Sagar remarks that during this Janmashtami, Anuj and Anupama reunited, and now it's Baa and Babuji's turn. 

Anupama lights a diya in front of God, expressing gratitude for resolving issues. She acknowledges that she now has Aadhya and Anuj by her side, praying for Baa and Babuji to reconcile. Together with Anuj and Aadhya, she sings a devotional song and performs aarti. Kinjal tries to reassure Baa, stating that Anupama's intentions are not wrong. Titu, Toshu, Meenu, and others attempt to convince Baa, but she leaves. They all hope for Baa and Babuji's reunion. Pakhi comments that while Baa can visit Babuji, Meenu and Titu should refrain from going there. Toshu insists they shouldn't go to Asha Bhavan.

Vanraj is exposed:

Anupama expresses her wish to meet Megha, but Aadhya panics and pleads with her not to go. Anupama explains that it's necessary, and Anuj offers to accompany her as they are Aadhya's parents. Ansh, feeling troubled by Pari, Mahi, and Ishu, asks Toshu when Dadu will return. Baa wonders when Vanraj will arrive. Toshu assures that Vanraj could come at any time, declaring that Vanraj Shah is back. Suddenly, two men, accompanied by guards, enter and demand to know Vanraj Shah's whereabouts. Toshu questions why he should tell them. 

The men pull out guns and accuse Vanraj of defrauding them under the guise of a project, stating that he has duped numerous people and fled. The family is left in shock as they try to reason with the men. Toshu assures them that once Vanraj returns, he will settle their debts. The men begin to throw out their belongings, warning that if Vanraj doesn't come forward, they'll take more severe action next time. Baa defends Vanraj, calling him a tiger who will devour them. Kinjal tries to calm Baa down. The men claim Vanraj has committed fraud worth crores. Pakhi and Toshu recall Vanraj's words about his life, his money, and his decisions. Toshu acknowledges that his father is indeed an expert in fraud.

Megha's outburst at Anupama:

Anuj and Anupama visit Viren and Megha's house. Viren looks at them nervously. Anupama assures that they have come peacefully. Viren pleads with them not to involve the police. Anuj clarifies that had they involved the authorities, Megha would be behind bars by now. Anupama states that a mother wishes to meet another mother. Viren shares Megha's feelings of guilt, explaining how Priya went missing, and Megha began blaming herself. He recounts how they met Aadhya at a childcare centre, and because she resembled Priya, Megha believed she was her daughter. They brought Aadhya to Ahmedabad, and for a while, Megha was happy. However, over time, Megha became possessive and tried to mold Aadhya into Priya. Viren explains that Megha turned their home into a prison, never letting Aadhya go out alone. He assures that Megha never physically harmed her. Anupama acknowledges that Megha's love transformed from maternal care into an unhealthy obsession. She expresses empathy for them but insists that they face the truth.

Back at home, Baa urges someone to contact Vanraj. Titu says Vanraj's phone is unreachable. Dimple advises Baa to stay calm to avoid raising her blood pressure. Toshu keeps trying to reach Vanraj, hoping he will answer. Anupama enters Priya's room and urges Megha to emerge from the darkness, stating that it's time to shed light on the truth. Megha accuses Anupama of stealing Priya and ruining her life. Viren expresses concern for Megha's well-being, fearing she might harm herself. Anuj promises that he won't let that happen. Megha demands Anupama leave, threatening to end her life if she doesn't. She then hugs Anupama, crying, and insists she doesn't want to talk. Anupama comforts her, saying she understands Megha's pain. Megha begs Anupama to return her Priya. 

Aadhya is anxious:

Anupama gently explains that if Aadhya were truly Priya, she would have given her back, but Aadhya is her daughter, not Priya. Megha stubbornly insists that Aadhya is Priya. Anupama firmly asserts that Aadhya is her daughter and not Megha's Priya. As Megha continues to insist, Anupama raises her voice, stressing that Aadhya is their child, not Priya. Feeling the strain, Anupama asks Megha to understand the reality.

Aadhya, feeling anxious, worries that Megha might harm Anupama. Meanwhile, Megha clings to Anupama, tearfully pleading for her daughter back. Anupama responds, questioning how she could give her daughter away when Megha knew the truth but still tried to take Aadhya. Megha laments that fate took Priya away from her and suggests that they search for Priya together.

Anupama comforts Megha:

Anupama empathizes, sharing that she lost her son, Samar, and questions whether forcing someone to take Priya's place is the solution. She recalls how she stayed away from Aadhya for five years for her happiness, and when she finally found her, she never gave up hope. She insists that it's wrong to take away someone's hope and emphasizes that children are not possessions; they have their own desires and happiness. 

Anupama confronts Megha about keeping someone else's daughter with her, questioning how she couldn't see the wrong in her actions. She accuses Megha of transforming from a mother into a criminal. Anupama declares that she doesn't want to involve the police or courts and urges Megha to swear on Priya's photo and honestly say if Aadhya was happy with them. Megha recalls Aadhya's unhappiness and reluctantly shakes her head. Anupama presses further, asking if Aadhya was truly happy. Megha admits that she wasn't. Anupama tells Megha that her actions were not motivated by love but by selfishness and greed, forcing Aadhya to stay with her. She criticizes Megha for giving up on finding her real daughter and settling for a lookalike instead.

In the precap, Anupama tenderly moves hair from Aadhya's face, reminiscing about how he used to do it. Toshu confronts Kinjal, Meenu, and others, questioning why they went to the other side and telling them to come inside, asserting that he is now the head of the family. Anupama rebukes him. Baa asks who organized a puja at home. Toshu insists that they need to choose a new head of the family. A servant brings a pagdi. Baa, holding firm, states that her son is still alive. Toshu, with Baa's support, places the pagdi on his head, symbolizing his new role.
