Anupamaa: Shivangi Joshi reacts on joining the show

Shivangi Joshi, one of television's most beloved actresses, gained immense fame for portraying Naira Goenka in Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai. Recently, widespread reports have suggested that Shivangi would be joining the cast of Anupamaa post-leap, playing a pivotal role alongside Rupali Ganguly.

However, the actress has put these rumours to rest. Taking to social media, Shivangi clarified that she is not part of the show. She wrote, "Hi Everyone, There's been news of me being a part of Anupamaa. I thought I should clarify that I am not doing the show and put all rumours to rest. I also wish the team all the love and luck always."

In addition to Shivangi's clarification, it has been reported that Aurra Bhatnagar, who plays Aadhya, is also set to exit the show. At 14, Aurra expressed that she was not keen on continuing with the role given the storyline. Her mother, Deepti, stated they were not informed about the upcoming leap and that Aurra would only take on age-appropriate roles.

As the show gears up for a significant leap of 10–15 years, Anupamaa is expected to bring a fresh storyline, with Rupali Ganguly and Gaurav Khanna continuing as leads, while several other cast members are rumoured to depart.
