Anupamaa: Prem's presence excites Mahi; is she falling in love?

In tonight's Anupamaa episode, Prem approaches Anupama, mentioning that he didn't want to intrude on her private time, so he kept his distance. However, he confesses he can't leave her alone on the cliff and decides to stay by her side. Anupama calls him her supporter, and he agrees to stand by her.

Meanwhile, Ansh, Mahi, and Pari urge Rahi to try and understand Anupama, reassuring her that Anupama genuinely cares for her. Pari and Mahi mention that Anupama had been looking for Rahi, but Rahi firmly asks them to avoid discussing her. Ansh, Mahi, and Pari assure Rahi that she can confide in them.

Mahi feels hesitant to address Anupama as mother:

As Anupama and Prem walk home, engaged in a heartfelt conversation, Prem suggests taking a photo of her. However, his phone slips from his hand and falls to the ground, accidentally playing a song. When he attempts to pause it, Anupama gently stops him, encouraging him to let it play. Together, they savor the lyrics, while Anupama’s mind drifts to cherished memories with Anuj.

The following day, Leela urges Hasmuk to return, saying Anupama will handle the household responsibilities. She questions how Anupama can stay calm despite their financial troubles, but Anupama assures her that she'll find a solution. Spotting Anupama's locket, Leela questions her about it, and Toshu criticises her for prioritising jewellery amidst financial struggles. Anupama counters, pointing out that it's Toshu who caused their losses and resolves to reopen Anu Ki Rasoi.

To wake up Rahi, Leela pours water on her, to which Rahi gives a sharp response. Leela then instructs Rahi to clean the house in preparation for Diwali, but Anupama intervenes, stating that the cleaning will be a collective effort. Toshu later apologises to Jhanki, while Leela accuses Anupama of intentionally causing trouble for him. Inspired, Jhanki offers her assistance to Anupama and is thrilled to meet Rahi. Anupama feels emotional thinking about Rahi and decides to relaunch her kitchen. Mahi, watching Anupama, contemplates addressing her as "mother" but hesitates upon seeing Rahi.

Prem is the new chef:

Later, Anupama notices Rahi reaching for a hot pot and swiftly prevents her from getting burned. Rahi expresses concern for Anupama, and Mahi checks if Anupama is in pain. Lost in thoughts of Anuj and Adhya, Anupama tries to figure out how to support Jhanki despite her injury.

Rahi spends some time with Kaveri and Gauri. Observing Rahi, Anupama joins her, and together, they stop a group of boys from setting off crackers near animals. Anupama explains to the boys why they should avoid causing distress to animals, and Rahi stands in support of her, making Anupama proud of her.

Leela once again asks Rahi to help with the cleaning, while Ishani places orders for Diwali gifts, perhaps to maintain appearances. Meanwhile, Anupama decides to prepare homemade sweets, requesting Mahi and Pari’s help with the packaging to avoid unnecessary expenses. Toshu questions her about the new chef, to which Anupama responds that the chef is on the way and will handle the upcoming order.

In a surprising turn, Prem arrives at the Shah house, revealing himself as the new chef for Anu Ki Rasoi. As he enters, he crosses paths with Mahi, who can’t help but smile widely upon seeing him. Noticing Rahi about to stumble on the stairs, Prem quickly steps in to prevent her fall. Later, he formally announces that he is the new chef and reassures Anupama of his dedication to support her, bringing joy to Mahi.
