Anupamaa: Adhya starts her mission to make Anupama's life difficult

Anupamaa on Star Plus continues to top the TRP charts with its emotional narrative and intricate family dynamics. After a generational leap, the story moves several years ahead, focusing on Anupama and the Shah family in Ahmedabad. Despite the time that has passed, Anupama clings to the hope of reuniting with Anuj and their daughter, Adhya.

Anupama, guided by Prem, travels to Dwarka to offer a Morpankh as a vow, praying for her daughter's return. However, she is unaware that Adhya, now living as Rahi in a Dwarka orphanage, holds deep resentment toward her. Rahi, embracing her new identity, works as a tour guide while hiding her past. When they finally meet, Rahi harshly rejects Anupama as her mother, leaving her heartbroken. Yet, when a crisis strikes the orphanage, Rahi reluctantly turns to Anupama for help, agreeing to return with her only if the ashram is saved. Anupama fulfils the promise, and with a heavy heart, Rahi leaves for Ahmedabad with her.

In the upcoming episode of Anupamaa, Adhya, though agreeing to stay with the Shah family, has resolved to make Anupama's life difficult. Her plan is to create enough disruption that the family will eventually ask her to leave, allowing her to return to Dwarka. Upon her arrival, she notices the warm welcome decor arranged by Mahi and Pari. Though memories from her past flood in as she enters, she steels herself, determined not to show any weakness.

When she spots the family's cherished swing, she shouts, "Jhula!" and begins swinging with exaggerated enthusiasm to stir up trouble. Baa, panicked, yells at her to get off her swing, to which Adhya defiantly responds that she's simply swinging and isn't causing anyone actual harm. The atmosphere shifts further when a cake, prepared with "Welcome Back, Choti" written on it, is presented. Adhya's anger boils over at this, and she smears the writing on the cake, expressing her disdain for the name "Choti" and anything tied to it, shocking everyone in the family.

Then, in a dismissive gesture, Adhya wipes her cake-smeared hands on the sofa, provoking an outraged Pakhi, who questions her behavior. Adhya taunts her, suggesting the mess could easily be cleaned, sarcastically asking if there's no washing machine, and even implying Pakhi could wash it herself if needed. Later, a frustrated Pakhi tells Anupama that such a daughter deserves to be disowned. Anupama pointedly reminds her that, by that logic, Pakhi and Toshu should have been disowned long ago for their past behaviour.

Dolly adds that, unlike Pakhi and Toshu, Adhya is adopted, but Anupama firmly counters, stating that while Adhya may not see her as a mother to her, Adhya is as dear as Kanha.
