Anupamaa: Adhya's return sparks turmoil in the Shah household

Anupamaa on Star Plus continues to dominate the TRP charts with its emotional storytelling and complex family dynamics. Following a generational leap, the narrative shifts several years into the future, focusing on Anupama and the Shah family in Ahmedabad. Despite the passage of time, Anupama remains hopeful for a reunion with Anuj and their daughter, Adhya.

Guided by Prem, Anupama travels to Dwarka to offer a Morpankh as a vow, praying for her daughter's return. Unbeknownst to her, Adhya now lives as Rahi in a Dwarka orphanage, harbouring resentment toward Anupama. Embracing her new life, Rahi works as a tour guide while concealing her identity. When the two finally reunite, Rahi's harsh treatment devastates Anupama, who is rejected as her mother. However, a crisis at the orphanage forces Rahi to seek Anupama's help, agreeing to return only if Anupama saves the ashram.

In the upcoming episode of Anupamaa, after Adhya sets her condition, Anupama agrees to help save the ashram. Following this, Adhya promises to return to Ahmedabad and reunite with the Shah family. Upon arriving at Krishnkunj, Ansh excitedly announces Adhya's return, prompting the family to gather, astonished by her presence.

As Adhya approaches, she hesitates, haunted by memories of her past. Mahi and Pari joyfully express their happiness at seeing Adhya again, sharing how much they've missed her and warmly embracing her. Although Anupama is delighted to witness the reunion, the rest of the Shah family is less enthusiastic about Adhya's return.

Toshu remarks to Anupama that Adhya has always been the focus of her affection, to which Adhya retorts, questioning the label of "that girl" and asserting that her name is Rahi. Pakhi comments that Adhya has hardly set foot in the house and has already stirred trouble. Adhya responds by saying she didn't come to listen to anyone's nonsense and declares her intention to leave.

Just as she prepares to walk away, Anupama pleads with her to stay calm and refers to her as "beta." Adhya sharply responds that Anupama is neither her mother nor is she her daughter, pushing Anupama's hand away in frustration before storming out.

Anupama later learns from Toshu about a business crisis, forcing her to prepare to return home, though she is torn at the thought of leaving without Rahi.

Rahi, discovering the ashram is in financial trouble, vows to save it. She eventually agrees to return with Anupama, but only on the condition that Anupama helps save the ashram.
