Anupamaa: Anupama indirectly wishes for Prem and Rahi's union

In tonight's episode of Anupamaa, Adhya notices Ansh wearing a brooch she gifted him long ago, and she approaches him, visibly touched. Ansh gently reminds her of how she initially bought the brooch for Anuj but chose to give it to him when she noticed his fondness for it. Wearing it for the first time, Ansh expresses how much he values Adhya, regarding her as a sister more than just his "fui" (aunt).

Ansh then invites Adhya to join him in celebrating Bhai Dooj. Mahi, though she is Ansh's aunt, performs the Bhai Dooj ritual for him. Ansh, interpreting Rahi's silence as a gesture of agreement, anticipates her participation and becomes excited. Filled with festive spirit, he decides to surprise Adhya by treating her to her favourite dish.

Bhavesh makes an announcement:

On his way back home, Ansh encounters Kunal and his gang. Kunal demands that Ansh repay him. Ansh, however, requests a delay, pointing out that it's Bhai Dooj. Despite this, Kunal and his group track him down. Elsewhere, Prem decides he wants to meet his sister but unexpectedly bumps into Pakhi. She curiously questions if he's also celebrating Bhai Dooj, but Prem dodges with an excuse. Suspicious, Pakhi resolves to keep an eye on him.

Anupama enjoys her own Bhai Dooj celebration with Bhavesh, who blesses Adhya. He shares the news of his upcoming marriage, prompting Leela to criticise Anupama's family for marrying at an older age. The Shahs advise Bhavesh to consider Nihar's feelings, but Bhavesh reveals it was Nihar who encouraged him to remarry. He expresses the need for companionship in his later years, which makes Anupama happy. She even promises to dance at his wedding. Anupama emphasises the importance of having a life partner, but Leela dismisses her, asking her to focus on Ansh.

Rahi misunderstands Prem:

Elsewhere, Kunal and his gang end up attacking Ansh. Rahi gets worried that Ansh is in danger and rushes to help. In another part of town, Prem is thrilled to meet his sister, showing her a picture of Anupama. Meanwhile, Rahi searches frantically for Ansh and finds him being attacked by Kunal and his friends. She bravely intervenes, leaving Ansh astonished at her fearlessness.

Back at the Shah house, Anupama and the family anxiously await Ansh and Rahi's return. Prem learns of Ansh's disappearance and sets out to find him. When Rahi and Ansh finally return, the family is relieved but concerned. Anupama questions Rahi about what happened, and Rahi accuses Prem of sending goons to harm Ansh. Prem defends himself, and Ansh clarifies that Prem had no involvement in the attack. Leela then questions why Ansh ventured outside.

Rahi's love confession:

Ansh explains that he went out to buy Shankarpali for Rahi, which touches Rahi. She embraces Ansh warmly, expressing the deep affection she holds for him and revealing how she had always longed for him. Anupama feels hopeful that Rahi will grow closer to the entire family. Rahi, along with Mahi, Ishani, and Pari, joyfully celebrates Bhai Dooj with Ansh. 

Anupama apologises to Prem on Rahi's behalf, sensing his feelings. On the other hand, Prem admits feeling envious as he watches Ansh surrounded by his caring family. Silently, Anupama wishes for Rahi to experience true happiness and for prem (love) to blossom in her life, while Prem gazes at Rahi with affection in his eyes.
