Anupamaa: Anuj struggles to find a job, faces rejection

In tonight's episode of Anupamaa, Anuj prepares himself while Anupama watches, her eyes filled with mixed emotions. As he dreams about getting closer to her, Anupamaa lends him a hand, helping him get ready. Internally, she grapples with her inability to resist her feelings for him. Meanwhile, in another sequence, Sagar dreams of apologising to Anupama, confessing his love for Meenu. However, Bala wakes him up, and Sagar immediately shares his feelings of guilt. Bala advises Sagar to overcome his remorse and let go of the past.

Anuj faces rejection:

Sagar, feeling conflicted, asks Bala if he's truly unsuitable for Meenu. Bala, however, advises him to step away from her. But Sagar stands firm, refusing to back down, and instead expresses his desire to discuss the matter with Anupama. Elsewhere, Dolly warns Meenu to keep her distance from Sagar, accusing him of trying to take advantage of Meenu's wealth. Meenu pushes back against Dolly's "cheap thoughts" and defends Sagar. Still, Dolly cautions Meenu again, urging her to focus on her studies or face being forced into an early marriage. Kinjal steps in, advising Meenu to be upfront with Anupama about her relationship with Sagar. After some deliberation, Meenu and Sagar make up their minds to reveal the truth to Anupama.

On another front, Aadhya takes it upon herself to assist Mahi with her studies, which brings joy to Anupama. Nandita, on the other hand, nudges Anupama to consider accepting Anuj's proposal, leaving Anupama feeling deeply conflicted. Bala, missing his family, requests Anupama to prepare some traditional South Indian dishes for Onam. Anupama, understanding his longing, promises to cook those dishes for him. As Aadhya prays for the bond between Anupama and Anuj, Anuj finds himself struggling with a job opportunity. Despite Anuj's determined efforts, the manager ultimately turns him down for the position. Acknowledging Anuj's previous experience as a manager, the employer explains that he’s looking for an employee. He further adds that once Anuj regains control of his office, it could compromise the company, as they don’t want any business secrets leaking out. Given their rivalry, the manager suggests it’s in their best interest not to hire him, leaving Anuj disappointed and disheartened.

Anuj flirts with Anupama:

Anupama and Anuj cross paths at a temple, where they exchange thoughts about their respective challenges. Anuj inquires about Anupama's contract, and she reassures him that it will work out. Anuj, deeply invested in her success, prays for her. Meanwhile, Bala is pleasantly surprised by the celebration of Onam at Asha Bhawan, which leaves him emotional. Hasmuk reveals that the festival was Anupama's idea, which touches Bala's heart. Leela, on the other hand, is consumed with worry about Toshu's reaction to their participation in the celebration. Kinjal advises Leela to stop overthinking about Toshu. 

Leela then questions Kinjal if she's contemplating leaving Toshu, and Kinjal candidly responds that she's reached her limit with him. Later, Anuj can't help but be mesmerised by Anupama and playfully flirts with her, hoping she will reciprocate his feelings and accept his proposal.

In the precap, Anupama is seen celebrating Onam while Toshu devises a plan to disrupt her event. Meanwhile, a decision is made for Toshu to vacate the house, leaving both Anupama and Anuj stunned.
