Angad Hasija says that while he is yet to decide on a New Year resolution, he would like to be more disciplined next year. He adds that he wants to work on improving himself.

“I haven't really thought about a specific New Year's resolution yet, but I'm currently doing some planning since there's still time. I feel like I need to be a bit more focused and disciplined in various aspects of life. I'm already pretty disciplined, but I think adding a bit more structure and maintaining discipline for self-improvement would be beneficial,” he says.

Talking about what he has learned in 2023, he says, “In 2023, I've learned that spending six months in Kashmir has given me a lot to reflect upon. It's been a peaceful year for me, allowing me to discover more about myself. They say that when you spend time alone, you learn a lot—about who you are, what you want, and your life's focus. In 2023, many things happened for the first time; I found myself in a beautiful, serene place, experiencing the soothing embrace of nature, which has been quite a fulfilling experience.”

He adds, “There have been significant global losses, numerous challenges, and quite a few divorces this year. It's been a year of various experiences. However, my hope and prayer for the next year is that homes are filled with happiness, everyone finds peace of mind, and there's internal growth for all. External growth is happening in one way or another, some are achieving less, some more but internal growth is what truly matters. I've come to realise the importance of inner growth; it's crucial for happiness. I wish for everyone's internal growth because material success can vary, but if you're happy from within, even a small home can bring joy. Regardless of the losses this year, I feel that our highly active social media exposes us to everyone's problems, making the pain seem doubly intense. Despite that, my prayer is for a beautiful and fulfilling year for everyone, where internal happiness prevails over external challenges.”
