An emotional Dharmendra breaks down in tears looking back at his Struggling days; Video below

Recently, the spotlight is on veteran actor Dharmendra’s grandson and superstar Sunny Deol’s son, Karan Deol taking his first step in the world of movies. Karan, 28, is gearing up for his big Bollywood debut Pal Pal Dil Ke Paas alongside debutant Sahher Bambba. And lately, the father-dadu duo have been on a promotional spree in order to support their lad’s very first film. Sunny, who is also the director of the film, appeared on the sets of many reality shows along with the lead cast.

But this time, the film’s promotion became extra special as Karan’s grandfather Dharmendra accompanied them on the sets of a singing reality show, Superstar Singer, to promote the film. Also, this visit turned even more special for the Sholay star as he had a very emotional tribute waiting for him at the show.

During their visit to the singing show, Dharmendra was presented with his childhood pictures as a tribute. This gesture touched everybody’s heart and the Deol’s could not stop their tears. A very emotional Dharmendra burst into tears while watching the video and reminisced about his struggling days. 

The video was shared on the social media of the respective channel, which shows Dharmendra and Sunny crying.

After watching the video, Dharmendra said, “Rula diya yaar, tumne mujhe rula diya (You made me cry dear). Yahi mai khwab dekhta tha yahan aane ke. Us pul pe jaata hun to us pul se kehta hu ki Dharmendra tu actor ban gaya yaar! (This is where I dreamt of coming to showbiz. Even today, whenever I visit that bridge, I say ‘Dharmendra, you became an actor!).

He further added, “Us pul se ja ke kehta hu ki mere khwab pure ho gaye. Aur ye gaaon ki mitti ke kann kann se juta hun. Hum waha partition se pehle se rehte the. Mai to jazbaati insaan hun, tum mujhe waha le gaye jaha mere jazbaat ubhar ubhar ke baahar aa rahe the. (I tell it to the bridge, so that it knows that I have achieved my dreams. I am attached to the soil of my village, I am an emotional person and you took me to a place where all my emotions belong).” 

Meanwhile, Pal Pal Dil Ke Paas is a love story and marks the debut of Karan Deol and Sahher Bambba. The film is slated to release on 20 September 2019.
