Acting is a game of imitation with dialogues and expressions. The former helps to build a character but the latter gives an understanding of the potential of talent. An actor is someone who keeps the audience hooked by his/her performance and helps them to relate to it. Natural acting doesn’t require efforts and it stands out well, perhaps, because the actor gets involved in the character.
In the recent past, we have seen a surge of actors., who clearly understand the grammar of acting. Despite having less screen space and limited dialogues, they outshine every other character in the plot or at least leave a staunch mark on the audience with their realistic performance.
For example, Pankaj Tripathi as Kaleen Bhai in Mirzapur to Abhishek Banerjee as Hathoda Tyagi in Paatal Lok (both Amazon Prime Video’s Originals). Both the characters in the respective series were laced with very few limited dialogues but had screen presence across the season and they live it fullest, each ounce of it, carrying themselves effortlessly till the whole show.
These actors never had a godfather in the industry and are loved ones because of their sheer acting talent. You don’t need words to explain, even silence works sometimes, provided you understand the pause and pace to make a way into the audience’s mind and heart.
Perhaps, it would be wrong to compare but those who have already binged the recent Netflix original film Class of ’83, the actor who played Surve has also got the same niche talent that of veterans like Manoj Bajpai, Irrfan Khan, and the above-mentioned actors' example.

Undoubtedly, Prithvik Pratap as Surve is too young to get the correct grammar that of veterans but he certainly understands the game of action-reaction and how to portray yourself through body language and eyes during an ongoing scene. For an actor, experience what matters to play a certain character.
The audience glorifies the character or an actor who’s seen across the movie or series but, of course, remembers that one character who itches their heart and mind for the astound performance played by a certain character but impactful indeed.
Not just in terms of screen-presence but also through dialogues. Here reflects the actual talent of the actor, who speaks everything in limited space.
Today's cine-lovers and binge-watchers have become more aware and choosy with the content. And, OTT has helped to change their perspective about the same.
