Amidst Irrfan's health issues, Prerna talks on the delay of Sapna Didi

Irrfan Khan's tweet on Monday has left us all his friends and well-wishers uneasy given that he has hinted us that he is suffering from a rare disease. The post read:

Irrfan is taking a rest for now and hence the filming for all his upcoming projects have come to a halt. Khan was to commence shooting for Vishal Bhardwaj's film 'Sapna Didi' with Deepika Padukone from next week but due to his illness looks like the shooting will take a bit longer. A source revealed to Deccan Chronicle, "It's unlikely that he will return to shooting actively for quite a while now I can't put a number on his absence of leave. But the treatment is going to be a long process".

Prerna Arora who is the co-producer of this film said in a statement to Deccan Chronicle stating, "The delay is not of importance as long as the actor gets well. We were about to begin shooting from next week. Vishal had just come back from his final recce. We were excited about the project; now this has happened. Irrfan and Deepika are our first and only choice. Life is so unpredictable. Every moment is a reminder to not take life for granted".

Prerna also expressed that she too is worried about Irrfan's health. She revealed to the daily, "When Vishal learnt about Irrfan's illness, I felt very uneasy. I just wish he gets well soon. He is a fighter, a self-made success story and an inspiration to so many of us".

Speaking on her collaboration with Irrfan, Prerna stated, "I met Irrfan through Vishal. From Day one, Vishal was sure that Irrfan was going to be the one and only choice for this role. And that's the way it's going to remain. I can't wait to start our film with him".
