In a recent conversation with IMDb, Shah Rukh Khan shared his thoughts on hero and anti-hero roles in Bollywood. He candidly confessed,
"I never wanted to play the hero. I find heroes very boring."
His statement might come as a surprise to many, given his iconic status as the romantic hero of Indian cinema. However, Khan went on to explain his perspective.

"I find them doing all the good things. Just the nice things. To be able to do this good, I need to quickly transfer to do bad to understand that part, so that I can come and do the good guy with a lot of gusto again," he elaborated. "Because, you know, just playing the good guy again and again and again and being nice, puppy-eyed, doe-eyed, is boring after some time. Personally, yes, I like playing the bad guy. I love bad guys."
This revelation sheds light on Khan's desire for diversity in his roles and his willingness to explore the darker side of characters.
'Jawan,' produced by Red Chillies Entertainment and directed by Atlee, has taken the Bollywood world by storm, with its fresh take on heroism and a standout performance by Shah Rukh Khan.
