Alia's mom-in-law Neetu Kapoor Gives A Shoutout To The Jigra Poster, Says,"Our Jigra out to get hers"

Alia Bhatt is all set for a big action drama called Jigra, scheduled to hit the screens on October 11. The movie will clash with Rajkummar Rao's Vicky Vidya Ka Who Wala Video. The teaser release has created a buzz with Alia's impressive action sequences, earning praise from fans. Neetu Kapoor, her mother-in-law, also showed support by sharing the poster.

On September 10, 2024, Neetu Kapoor hopped onto her Instagram Stories and dropped a solo poster of Alia Bhatt from Jigra. The poster captures Alia gazing intensely at the camera. Neetu added the film's announcement video music as the background soundtrack for her story. She captioned it, "Our Jigra out to get hers," with two pink heart emojis and a fire emoji.

Alia's mom, Soni Razdan, praised the teaser trailer of the upcoming film. Posting it on her Instagram Stories, she expressed, "This is such an unusual teaser... cannot wait to see the whole film! Well done everyone."

The 2-minute, 49-second teaser of Jigra gives a glimpse of what's coming our way. It introduces Satya and Ankur, played by Alia Bhatt and Vedang Raina, as siblings in the film. Their bond will be a key highlight as Satya trains with Manoj Pahwa's character to free her brother from prison.

The teaser trailer assures us that the movie will be packed with thrilling action and touching moments. The song Phoolon Ka Taaro Ka, sung by Vedang, adds a beautiful touch in the background. Originally composed by RD Burman and sung by Kishore Kumar, with lyrics by RD Burman and Anand Bakshi, the track in Jigra has been recreated by Achint with added lyrics by Varun Grover.

Earlier, a bunch of Bollywood celebs like Varun Dhawan, Arjun Kapoor, Janhvi Kapoor, Sharvari, Shraddha Kapoor, Khushi Kapoor, Ananya Panday, Hansal Mehta, Rhea Kapoor, Rohit Saraf, Ayushmann Khurrana, Amar Kaushik, Sunny Kaushal, Abhishek Banerjee, Radhikka Madan, and others showered love on the teaser trailer.

Jigra, helmed by Monica, of O My Darling fame Vasan Bala, is scripted by Debashish Irengbam and Vasan Bala. Backed by Viacom18 Studios, Dharma Productions, and Eternal Sunshine Productions, the movie is brought to life by Karan Johar, Apoorva Mehta, Alia Bhatt, Shaheen Bhatt, and Somen Mishra. Save the date for its big-screen debut on October 11, 2024, coinciding with the festive occasion of Dussehra.

Besides that, Alia Bhatt is juggling her time shooting for the YRF Spy Universe Film Alpha alongside Sharvari. The two leading ladies are set to showcase their action skills against the villain, portrayed by Bobby Deol. Following the completion of Alpha, Alia will join forces with her husband Ranbir Kapoor on screen. The duo is slated to feature in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Love & War alongside Vicky Kaushal.

In the meantime, Neetu Kapoor was recently spotted on the silver screen in the family comedy drama Jugjugg Jeeyo (2022) alongside Anil Kapoor, Varun Dhawan, and Kiara Advani. She's also lined up for the movie Letters to Mr. Khanna with Sunny Kaushal. The filming wrapped up in 2022, but there hasn't been any news on the release date yet.
