Alia Bhatt's 'Jigra' journey begins as she gives a stylish twist to mystery in first look

Alia Bhatt, the acclaimed Bollywood actress known for her stellar performances, is gearing up to enchant audiences once again with her upcoming project, "Jigra," directed by Vasan Bala. The Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahani actress recently gave fans a sneak peek into her role by sharing behind-the-scenes photos captured by the director.

Taking to Instagram, Alia posted two intriguing pictures offering a glimpse into her character in "Jigra." 

The first image features the actress in the midst of getting her makeup done, while the second portrays her behind a glass window. Clad in a white shirt, black pants, and a stylish black coat, Alia exudes a mysterious aura, adding depth to her character.

In her caption, she credited the director, writing, "directors lens @vasanbala #JIGRA (blue heart)." The post signalled the commencement of filming, with Alia expressing excitement for the journey ahead. She shared, "& we're rolling .. day one of bringing our jigra to life.. stay tuned as we bring to you a piece of our hearts.. fingers and toes crossed for the journey aheaddddddd .. love TEAM JIGRA."

The pictures also provided a glimpse into the makeup room, where Alia could be seen looking at a screen displaying the title "Jigra." Additionally, one of the snaps featured her sister, Shaheen Bhatt.

Alia Bhatt had previously announced her role not just as an actor but also as a producer for "Jigra," through her banner, Eternal Sunshine Productions, in collaboration with Karan Johar's Dharma Productions
