Vashu Bhagnani and Pooja Entertainment face more trouble as Ali Abbas Zafar accuses them of withholding ₹7.30 crore for the flop 'Bade Miyan Chote Miyan.'

Featuring Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff in the lead, 'Bade Miyan Chote Miyan' was backed by an enormous ₹350 crore budget, promising to be a major box office hit. However, the film severely underperformed, grossing only around ₹100 crore, which left the production house and everyone associated with the project grappling with significant financial setbacks.

As per Dainik Bhaskar, Ali Abbas Zafar has filed a complaint with the Directors' Association against Pooja Entertainment for the unpaid ₹7.30 crore. On July 31, 2024, the Directors' Association sought the intervention of the Federation of Western Indian Cine Employees (FWICE) to resolve the issue.

When FWICE later reached out to Vashu Bhagnani with a letter seeking clarification on Zafar's allegations, Pooja Entertainment refuted the claims, denying any wrongdoing on their part. FWICE has requested Ali Abbas Zafar to submit evidence supporting his claims of unpaid dues. Meanwhile, the director has opted to stay silent, reportedly avoiding media attention to prevent any potential delays in receiving his payment.
