The trailer of the highly anticipated Housefull 4 released today and has managed to stand tall with the expectations of the audiences. The trailer of the comedy-drama based on a reincarnation concept, will tickle your funny bones and leave you laughing till the end. Directed by Farhad Samji, and produced by Sajid Nadiadwala under Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment, the film stars an ensemble cast of Akshay Kumar, Riteish Deshmukh, Bobby Deol, Kriti Sanon, Pooja Hegde, and Kriti Kharbanda.
Housefull 4 is the fourth installment of the hit comedy franchise Housefull. While Akshay and Riteish have remained constant throughout the series, the other co-actors and female leads of the film kept changing with every new sequel. The first part starred Arjun Rampal, Deepika Padukone, and Lara Dutta, the second part Housefull 2 featured John Abraham, Jacqueline Fernandez, and Zareen Khan. On the other hand, Housefull 3 starred Abhishek Bachchan, Lisa Haydon, and Nargis Fakhri. And, the fourth installment comes with a brand new huge cast.
Today, during the trailer launch event of Housefull 4, Akshay was questioned whether he misses his co-stars from the previous films of the franchise. To which, he answered that he does miss them and he often talks about them. He also states that they will always remain a part of the Housefull family.
Further adding, Akshay revealed that he had been discussing with his producer, Sajid Nadiadwala to make a Housefull with all the previous and present co-stars, and this amalgamation with all the stars can be called as a ‘Comedy Avengers’.
After delivering back to back films holding serious issues, Khiladi Kumar revealed that Housefull 4 is like a vacation for him. Reacting to which, his co-star and dear friend, Riteish Deshmukh said jokingly, “This is Akshay’s most expensive holiday.”
Akshay Kumar also revealed that the film was shot in 65-70 days with a budget of Rs. 80-85 crores. Produced by Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment and co-produced by Fox Star Studios, Housefull 4 is slated to release on 25 October 2019.
