A very few of us have the time or energy to work out tirelessly all day to get the perfect body and our TV stars dread working out or going to the gym just as much as we do, given their shoot schedule!

But Akshay Dogra, who is currently putting in the best of his talent in Waaris (&TV) made sure that he took out some spare time of his busy schedule to dedicate to a recreational activity - Football.

Though the actor maintained a fine balance between work and pleasure so far, Akshay is grieving in pain as he ended up with an intense back injury! The handsome man, who holds the belief of 'Come what may, the show must go on...' did not let the injury come in the way of fulfilling his commitments of shooting for the show without a break!

Speaking to Akshay, he averred, "Although I believe that one should maintain a balance between work and personal life but as an entertainer, I feel we have a little more responsibility of churning out content for the viewers and that can get strenuous at times. In the midst of this, I try to keep myself healthy and fit whenever I get time and playing football was one of the activities. Unfortunately, I pulled my hamstring and ended up with a back injury. The constant travel to the set which includes waiting in traffic for almost 2 and a half hours made my injury bad to worse.

But I think all of this is a part and parcel of being an actor and I am taking pain killers. For now, I am required in the storyline and the production house cannot give me an off even if they want to but hopefully, when my track goes a little easy, I will get a holistic healing done."

Get well soon Akshay!
