Love and marriage are beautiful life events in every persons life.

It calls for a celebration today as the charming couple Ajay Sharma and Malini Kapoor celebrate their first marriage anniversary today.

To congratulate the duo we buzzed Ajay who stated, "I feel like I am on top of the world right now! I had an inter cast marriage which was opposed by my family but Malini has proved herself by being a responsible daughter in law. She is full of life and the one thing I love about her is that she can make me laugh regardless of me being in a bad mood. "

"Marriage has been a wonderful journey and I am excited to spend many more years of togetherness. We have had sweet and sour moments but I feel it is a bliss to be bonded in the institution of marriage. When I was a bachelor I did not feel like going home but now it feels nice to know someone is waiting for me back home. " he added.

First anniversary defienelty calls for some special celebrations. But since Ajay has lately started shooting for Doli Armaanon Ki, the actor cannot be granted a leave.

So how will the couple celebrate their Anniversary? Let's hear it from the actor himself.

Ajay said, "We have arranged for a house party and will welcome industry friends such as Hina Khan, Ekta Kaul, Shivani Goswami, Shweta Gautam, Rashami Desai, Nandish Sandhu, Shalini Kapoor and Sukirti Kandpal to name a few. I will plan something special for the two of us when I get a 3 to 4 day leave sometime soon."

Now for those who want a quick update on what the gorgeous Malini is upto these days, she is currently shooting for Life OK's Savdhaan India.

The story will revolve around a couple who are not able to have a child. So the wife gets her husband married to another woman so that they can have a child but the lady turns out to be a fraud. The story will be having a lot of twist and turns.

Talking about the experience shooting for Savdhaan India, Malini told us, "I like doing emotional stories like these. With regards to my anniversary, I would like to mention that my equation with Ajay hasn't changed a bit after marriage. Our marriage was very sudden and it is a great feeling to get married to your friend. The one thing that I like about Ajay is that the way he wants me! He wants me around all the time. There are times when we fight and don't talk to each other,but I really like the fact that he needs me to be present with him that time too."
