Aishwarya Rai Departs for IIFA 2024 With Aaradhya; Will the Bachchan Family Reunite in Abu Dhabi?

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and her daughter Aaradhya were recently seen at Mumbai airport as they headed to Abu Dhabi for IIFA 2024. The event will be held from September 27 to September 29, with big stars like Shah Rukh Khan and Karan Johar as hosts. 

Fans are also excited for performances by Kriti Sanon, Shahid Kapoor, Rekha, and Janhvi Kapoor. However, many are wondering if the rest of the Bachchan family will join Aishwarya at the grand event.

In a video from the airport, Aishwarya looked stylish in a black jacket with quirky designs, paired with a black backpack. Aaradhya kept it simple in a pastel green sweatshirt, perfect for a casual yet chic travel look. Both seemed calm as they walked towards the international terminal. 

Aishwarya is nominated for the Best Actress award in the Tamil category for her role in Ponniyin Selvan: II, while her mother-in-law, Jaya Bachchan, is also nominated for Best Supporting Actress for Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani.

Aishwarya has been attending events alone for some time, raising curiosity about whether her family, especially the Bachchans, will accompany her this time. For months, Aishwarya hasn’t been seen at public events with her in-laws, which has fueled rumors. Back in July, the family made headlines when they attended a wedding separately—Amitabh, Jaya, and Abhishek arrived together, while Aishwarya and Aaradhya came separately.

With the IIFA 2024 just around the corner, fans are eagerly waiting to see if the Bachchan family will make a joint appearance or if Aishwarya will continue to attend events solo. 

Earlier this year, fans were upset when Amitabh Bachchan posted about the Kajra Re song but didn’t mention Aishwarya, despite her key role. Many took to social media to express their disappointment at this omission.
