Aishwarya and Trisha's chic ethnic looks steal the show at Ponniyin Selvan 2 promotions in Mumbai

Despite playing rival roles in the movie, the two actresses shared a warm bond off-screen, proving that female co-stars can be friends too.

Trisha Krishnan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan posed together for a picture during the recent promotions of their upcoming movie, Ponniyin Selvan 2, in Mumbai.  The picture shows Aishwarya hugging Trisha, while they both flash million-dollar smiles for the camera. Aishwarya Rai Bachchan's black floral ethnic suit was a gorgeous choice for the Ponniyin Selvan 2 promotions in Mumbai. She paired the suit with subtle makeup, including a light brown eyeshadow, a hint of blush, and a nude lip color. The actress kept her hair open, which gave her a beautiful and natural look.

On the other hand, Trisha Krishnan opted for an orange co-ord set and paired it with simple yet elegant jewelry. She kept her makeup minimal with a touch of blush and a glossy lip color. Her hair was styled in loose waves, which complemented her overall look. The two actresses looked stunning together and gave us major fashion goals

In the movie, Aishwarya portrays the role of Nandini, Queen of Pazhuvoor, while Trisha plays Chola Princess Kundavai. The face-off between the two actresses in the first part received a massive response from the audience, leaving fans excited to see what they have in store in the sequel. Ponniyin Selvan 2 is set to release on April 28, and the Mani Ratnam directorial is leaving no stone unturned to promote it.

The movie features Karthi as Vallavaraiyan Vanthiyathevan, the orphaned prince of the Vana clan, Chiyaan Vikram as crown prince Aditya Karikalan, and Jayam Ravi in the role of Arumozhi Varma aka Ponniyin Selvan, the future emperor. Additionally, Sarathkumar, Prabhu, Lal, Kishore, Sobhita Dhulipala, Ashwin Kakumanu, and Aishwarya Lekshmi are also part of the movie.
