Aishwarya Rai Bachchan's black floral ethnic suit was a gorgeous choice for the Ponniyin Selvan 2 promotions in Mumbai. In the movie, Aishwarya portrays the role of Nandini, Queen of Pazhuvoor, while Trisha plays Chola Princess Kundavai. The face-off between the two actresses in the first part received a massive response from the audience, leaving fans excited to see what they have in store in the sequel. Ponniyin Selvan 2 is set to release on April 28, and the Mani Ratnam directorial is leaving no stone unturned to promote it.
The movie features Karthi as Vallavaraiyan Vanthiyathevan, the orphaned prince of the Vana clan, Chiyaan Vikram as crown prince Aditya Karikalan, and Jayam Ravi in the role of Arumozhi Varma aka Ponniyin Selvan, the future emperor. Additionally, Sarathkumar, Prabhu, Lal, Kishore, Sobhita Dhulipala, Ashwin Kakumanu, and Aishwarya Lekshmi are also part of the movie.
